The Lakers beat the Spurs last night 123-92 and dominated the whole game. The team is on a 3 game winning streak without Lebron James and the team seems to be catching a bit of a stride. Lonnie Walker IV played a good game ending with 14 points, Anthony Davis destroyed the Spurs young bigs and ended with 30 points and 18 rebounds showing he still is a dominant force in the league. The young and promising Austin Reaves had 21 points with 3 three point field goals made while Westbrook tallied 10 points as well as 10 assists. Dennis Schroder had his first game this year back from injury and put in 13 points and Thomas Bryant who's also back from injury had 15 points and 9 rebounds which is what the Lakers need from him every night if they are going to be successful. This is a nice win for the Lakers to stay in the early playoff hunt. The season is still in the early parts and things could go either way but having early wins and not having to fight hard for a spot at the end is crucial for this teams success in the playoffs because they are an older team. We want them to have as much energy as possible and be rested without injuries.
